Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) a government owned tertiary institution in Lagos ranked 5th among the best polytechnics in Nigeria completes renovation of various departments in the school main campus, Ikorodu.
According to the rector of the school, Mr. Samuel Sogunro, "the renovation is due to accreditation which came up on September 24th, 2018 because it has met certain requirements so there is need for an official review in other to grant approval of documentary evidence. Therefore every students of the institution should adhere to the new rules and regulations of the school.LASPOTECH is not just rated 5th among best polytechnics in Nigeria, it has been able to deliver in its entirety providing students who are well trained and experienced. The institution is noted for core practical works with this, it has produced students who created drones as their projects in the engineering department and also have students in notable offices in Nigeria. This achievements is credited to the selfless contribution of the lecturers most of who as PhD holders. LASPOTECH has achieved a lot in 40yrs of its existence and this has helped to retain the fact that the school is indeed the school of excellence.
